The death of a “honest” man

India is not just the land of sadhu’s and snake charmers but it is also the land of the corrupt. We have managed to increase the amount of black money in foreign accounts faster than the BPO industries growth in India. The constant media frenzy has ensured those who were involved in type of corruption in India mainly the politicians and the corporate baabbu’s stay in the constant flashlight vigil. Its a good, these people should be exposed and face the music of Indian aam-janta. But, this aam janta is  also very corrupt. Infact we cannot pick a handfull of politicians and held them responsible for whatever is wrong with India and the transparceyindex.org . We are constantly ranking way below exeptable limits. The common man often gets away with his excuse of inability to take action, but these common man do the same whenever there is an opportunity. Indian hate the system as long as they are not part of it and as soon as they join it, game on,bring all the money under the table. We show the corrupt people in all glory. They live a life of the king. Media will not show a corrupt man who is doing this because his salary is simply negligiable for his expenses. They will not show how a poor man suffer because he refused to be part of the system, the “honest man” I am talking about. I have never seen a newspaper with an interview of “honest man” who is living the life we should be living. Never ever we see a honest man sharing his views on daily issues. It’s not the case that we dont have honest Indian citizens anymore. We see them killed by corrupt mafia’s. Once in a while they are seen on the news channels with there dead bodies and TV news anchors asking some fairly indecent questions. People from India or those who follow Indian media are fairly aware of this. If I may ask you, don’t you think a few minutes should be given to those honest men and women who are fighting for what ” Mr. Anna Hazare” was fasting for and those who seek the usual 15 minutes of fame where cheering him. These fame seekers are probably, rather definately corrupt. I wish we could have a way to reach to these people who love there country more than they love money. Its not easy to do that in a world filled with greed and power to survive on love. Indian media enjoys tarnishing the image of the country on a global scale but they do little or nothing to show the India that is proud of its achievements and its men and women that still stand for it.

Anyone who is reading it, if agrees with me please raise your voice too. We need to search for these people who deserve the world attention not as a reward of there efforts but as an inspiration to the less minded youth of today.
